Privacy Notice

Who is responsible for your data
This notice explains how personal data collected through mariusworks.co is handled.
Until Marius Works Pte. Ltd. is incorporated, the personal data collected through this site is controlled by Jason Yee Loong (“I”, “me”), who is setting up Marius Works. Once the company is incorporated, it will take over responsibility for this data, and this notice will be updated.
What I collect
When you use the contact form or email me, I collect the details you give: your name, email, company and your message.
When you schedule an intro call through Microsoft Bookings, I collect your name, email, the time you choose and anything you write in the notes, such as what’s getting stuck.
This site doesn’t use cookies for analytics or advertising. Like any website, my hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that looks at technical signals from your browser to tell people from automated spam. It’s used for that purpose only.
Why I collect it
I use your details only to:
- respond to your enquiry
- arrange and hold an intro call you’ve scheduled
- send you occasional updates from Marius Works, only if you’ve ticked the box to receive them
- keep a record of our correspondence.
I won’t sell your personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Consent and withdrawing it
When you send a message through the form, I use your details to reply to you. Sending it is your agreement to that. The form also has an optional box for occasional updates from Marius Works. Leave it unticked if you’d rather not receive them.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any update, or email [email protected]. When you unsubscribe, I stop sending updates straight away and delete your details within 30 days. I keep only your email address on a “do not contact” list, so you aren’t added again by mistake.
Who can see it
Only me, and the service providers that run this website, the form and my email, who process data on my behalf:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting and form processing. Form details pass through Cloudflare on their way to the mailbox and aren’t stored there. Cloudflare also runs the Turnstile bot check.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365), for email and scheduling. Form submissions go to the Marius Works mailbox ([email protected]). Any emails we exchange, and conversations scheduled through Microsoft Bookings, are held in my Microsoft 365 account in the United States.
Transfers outside Singapore
My website host (Cloudflare) and email provider (Microsoft) may process your data outside Singapore, mainly in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules and Privacy Recognition for Processors systems. Microsoft is bound by its data protection terms and stores my email and scheduling data in the United States. Both require a standard of protection comparable to Singapore’s PDPA. If you’re outside Singapore, your data may be stored and processed outside your own country.
How long I keep it
I keep your details until you ask me to stop, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact. After that I delete them. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, I delete your details within 30 days, apart from the “do not contact” entry described above.
Keeping it safe
I use reasonable security arrangements to protect your data from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, loss or modification.
Accessing or correcting your data
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, how it has been used in the past year, or to correct it. Email [email protected]. I’ll respond as soon as reasonably possible and within the time the PDPA allows.
